Fans Remember Zubeen Garg On First Death Anniversary

Hundreds of fans and family members gathered at Zubeen Khetra in Sonapur to remember the late Assamese singer on his first death anniversary. People sang his popular songs and paid their respects at the temporary memorial site on the outskirts of Guwahati.

Members of the All Assam Students Union joined artists and fans to honor the music icon. AASU Chief Advisor Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya stated that the gathering was a way to remember the singer and called for justice in connection with his death.

Legacy And Government Programs

Speakers highlighted Zubeen Garg for his humanitarian work and cultural contributions during his lifetime. The Assam government organized a three-day program through its Cultural Affairs Department to remember the singer, which began on Thursday and concluded on Saturday.
