Darjeeling MP Raju Bista Appointed BJP Sikkim In-Charge

Darjeeling MP Raju Bista has been appointed as the state in-charge for Sikkim by the Bharatiya Janata Party. The announcement was made on Wednesday through an official statement.

Accepting New Responsibilities

Raju Bista expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, national party president, and senior leadership for the new role. He accepted the responsibility and stated that it provides an opportunity to improve coordination with party workers, the people of Sikkim, and NDA alliance partners.

Focus on Strengthening Organization

His main priority in Sikkim will be to strengthen the party organization and connect with people at the grassroots level. He mentioned working alongside the state party leadership and addressing the aspirations and problems of citizens effectively. Bista also highlighted the goal of a developed India by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and committed to working with senior leaders and party workers in Sikkim.
