Congress questions new Sikkim Governor appointment

Father Demands Legal Accountability

Ankita's father, Virendra Singh Bhandari, has expressed deep dissatisfaction over the government decision. He requested the President of India not to appoint Dushyant Kumar as Governor until the CBI investigation is concluded. Ankita Bhandari was murdered on September 18, 2022, and the main accused were sentenced to life imprisonment on May 30, 2025.
