Congress Gains Women Power in Asansol Membership Drive

Many women joined the Congress party at an event in Asansol on Sunday. The joining program took place at the party office near Girja More in the presence of state women Congress president Sarvani Singh. Women from Kulti, Barabani, and other areas of the Asansol Lok Sabha constituency took membership in the party.

TMC Leaders Switch to Congress

Moumita Sengupta left the Trinamool Congress from the Kulti assembly constituency to join the Congress along with many women. Archana Kumari and Mithu Singh also led groups of women to join the party from the Barabani area. Sarvani Singh stated that this huge joining of women shows the party base is growing stronger in the Asansol Lok Sabha area of West Bengal.
