Child Drowns During Dadhi Kada Event In Jalpaiguri

A ten-year-old boy died after drowning in water during the Dadhi Kada game on the occasion of Janmashtami. The tragic incident took place on Saturday at Kachumord in the Paghalupara area of Sahudangi, located in the Rajganj block of Jalpaiguri.

Details of the Tragic Incident

The victim has been identified as Kaushik Bose, a resident of Krishnanagar Colony in the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat area of Rajganj. He had gone to participate in the large-scale Dadhi Kada game organized at Kachumord for Janmashtami.

Hospital Declaration

During the event, the child suddenly fell into the water, causing panic at the scene. After a long search, he was pulled out of the water and immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination.
