Budhana Nagar Panchayat Launches Tax Amnesty Scheme

The Budhana Nagar Panchayat has introduced a one-time settlement scheme to collect pending property, house, and water taxes. This scheme will be effective from August 15, 2026, to December 15, 2026.

Details of the Tax Relief

Executive Officer of Budhana Nagar Panchayat, Alok Ranjan, stated that under this initiative, all penalties and interest on house and water taxes have been waived. Citizens are required to pay only the original tax amount to clear their dues.

Local authorities have requested residents to take advantage of this initiative. Citizens should deposit their pending principal tax amounts within the specified timeframe to benefit from the waiver.
