An 11-year-old boy died during treatment in Rampurhat, Birbhum, after his family alleged he was given wrong injections by a doctor.
The boy, son of Buddhadev Mal from Bele Narayanpur village, was suffering from severe stomach pain.
His family took him to a doctor named Arindam Chatterjee for treatment.
Family members alleged that a young man at the doctor's chamber administered two injections, and the boy's health worsened immediately afterward.
The family rushed him to Rampurhat Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Following the death,
family members protested by placing the body in front of the doctor's chamber.
Police reached the spot to control the situation and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. According to police,
the exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report comes out.
