BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya arrived in Siliguri on Tuesday to strengthen the party organization in North Bengal. He reached Bagdogra airport where he spoke to the press about current political issues in the state.
Samik Bhattacharya replied to allegations made by Aam Janata Unnayan Party chief Humayun Kabir regarding the police. He stated that Kabir is trying to create division among people through misleading statements and politics of division. He also mentioned that no government wants unrest in the state and administration will act if anyone crosses the law. He made a remark that Kabir should wear a helmet while going out because people might hit his head.
The BJP state president claimed that the I.N.D.I.A. alliance no longer has any existence. He also criticized the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge. Furthermore, he targeted the CPI(M) Kisan Sabha. According to the available information, Bhattacharya has several scheduled programs during his visit to North Bengal.
