BJP Leader House Fired At In Sandeshkhali

Gunshots were fired at the home of a local Bharatiya Janata Party leader in Sandeshkhali on Saturday, creating tension in the area. No injuries were reported in the incident according to officials.

A group of armed men surrounded the house of BJP leader Jumman शेख and opened fire in the morning while the family was sleeping inside. Local residents stated that the attackers came from nearby fields and escaped before people could wake up and gather at the spot.

Police Investigation and Action

Najat police station officers reached the spot and started an investigation after receiving information about the shooting. Police recovered several empty cartridges and found bullet marks on the walls of the house, while patrolling has been increased in the area to maintain law and order.
