Sreerampur organizational district BJP president Suman Ghosh held a press conference on Wednesday to share the achievements of the government during its first 100 days. Key Government Initiatives and Schemes

Suman Ghosh stated that the government has prioritized the implementation of its election promises. Focus areas include women empowerment, healthcare, education, and industrial revival. Under the Annapurna scheme, eligible women are receiving financial assistance of three thousand rupees per month. Additionally, the government has integrated the Ayushman Bharat and Chief Minister Health Insurance schemes, providing cashless health insurance coverage of up to five lakh rupees annually to beneficiaries starting from August 16.

Education and Industrial Development

Addressing education, the government highlighted the Kanya Ratna scholarship and the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. Financial support for female students is set to increase to two thousand rupees in the next phase. Regarding industries, the government reported progress in reopening closed units, specifically jute mills, to generate employment opportunities for local workers.

Infrastructure and Border Security

Suman Ghosh also addressed developments in infrastructure and security. The government is working to provide land to central agencies for strengthening security along the India-Bangladesh border. Furthermore, efforts are being made to accelerate various rail and road projects.
