BJP Candidate Debashish Sharma Files Nagaon Bypoll Papers

Debashish Sharma filed his nomination papers as the Bharatiya Janata Party and alliance candidate for the Nagaon Lok Sabha by-election. He visited the office of the Nagaon District Commissioner along with thousands of party workers and supporters.

Leaders Present at Nomination

Several prominent leaders attended the event. BJP Assam Pradesh President Dilip Saikia, state ministers Pijush Hazarika and Keshab Mahanta, MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, and many MLAs and party office-bearers were present during the filing.

Election Schedule and Details

The Nagaon by-election will take place on October 6, with the counting of votes scheduled for October 9. The schedule was announced by the Election Commission of India.
