BJP Appoints Ward Coordinators Across Siliguri Municipal Area

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Siliguri organizational district committee has appointed ward coordinators for all 47 wards of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. These appointments were announced by the party district president Arun Mandal on Monday and are effective immediately.
Purpose of the New Appointments
Following the dissolution of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, the wards currently lack elected councilors. The party has introduced these coordinators as an alternative measure to address public concerns and ensure that essential work continues in the absence of local representatives. These coordinators will act as a bridge between the party and the general public to facilitate communication and resolve local issues.
Focus on Organizational Growth
Beyond addressing civic grievances, the primary goal of these appointments is to strengthen the party structure at the ward level. The newly appointed members are tasked with promoting the party policies and organizing outreach campaigns across their respective areas. The coordinators will be responsible for expanding the party organization and ensuring that all upcoming programs are successfully implemented at the grassroots level.
Future Activities and Public Contact
Moving forward, the coordinators will focus on increasing their direct contact with the residents of Siliguri. They are expected to monitor local activities and report public concerns directly to the party leadership. District President Arun Mandal has expressed that this new team will play a vital role in making the party more active and accessible to the people of Siliguri.
