Bhutkirahat Volunteers Serve Pilgrims Heading to Jalpesh

Volunteers from the Bhutkirahat group organized a service camp to assist pilgrims traveling to the famous Jalpesh temple in Maynaguri during the holy month of Shravan. The camp was set up along the 31D National Highway, providing essential support to devotees who travel long distances to offer prayers at the temple.

Support Provided to Pilgrims

On Sunday night, the organizers distributed cold drinking water to travelers passing through the highway in various vehicles. The volunteers served khichdi meals to the pilgrims and provided a dedicated space for them to rest during their journey. This initiative was taken to ensure that devotees do not face any difficulties while traveling toward the Jalpesh temple.

Presence of Officials and Community Effort

Local MLA Dinesh Sarkar visited the service camp to observe the arrangements made for the pilgrims. He interacted with the organizers and noted the importance of such community service activities. The organizers distributed approximately five thousand bottles of cold water to the passing pilgrims throughout the event.

Future Commitment to Service

Organizer Shafil Shubhankar Dutt stated that this service camp is an annual initiative by the Bhutkirahat group to help those heading to Jalpesh. The organizers confirmed that they plan to continue these public service activities in the future to support both pilgrims and the general public. This effort reflects the ongoing commitment of local groups to assist travelers during the busy Shravan pilgrimage season.
