Bagdogra Airport has started a special Yatri Seva Abhiyan on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This campaign will run from September 17 to October 10. The Airport Authority of India gave directions to organize this campaign to provide better, safe, and easy services to passengers along with increasing awareness. Bagdogra Airport Director Naved Nazim released a press release to share information about this campaign.
The campaign aims to improve services by keeping the needs of different communities and passengers in mind. Bagdogra Airport is an important center for air connectivity for North Bengal, Sikkim, and Northeast India. Different programs and service-related initiatives will happen to help passengers. Programs also show the culture of different tribes and communities of North Bengal and the Himalayan region.
Major government airports in the country also announced a special 24-day program. Programs started on September 17 as Sankalp Evam Seva दिवस. Airports arranged special welcome setups for passengers along with cultural programs during this time.
