Assam CM announces month-long program for PM Modi birthday

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said prayers were offered for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. He announced a month-long program to mark the Prime Minister completing 25 years of public service.
Earthen Lamps and Special Camps
CM Sarma stated that households across Assam will light earthen lamps and prayers will be offered in temples. The state government will also organize camps across the state where people can voice their grievances, and the government will strive to resolve them.
National Leaders Offer Prayers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born in 1950 in Gujarat. Earlier in the day, President Droupadi Murmu extended birthday greetings. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Chirag Paswan, and BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
