Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Adani Group Director Jeet Adani laid the foundation stone for a new thermal power plant in Dhubri district.
This massive 48,000 crore project is the largest single private industrial investment in the state. The plant is built at Chapar and will feature four units of 800 MW each, making a total capacity of 3,200 MW.
