Chief Minister Pema Khandu emphasized that the project must be examined scientifically rather than being accepted or rejected without assessment.
The government will engage with Gram Panchayats and local communities through detailed presentations if the project is found technically feasible.
Affected villages will be consulted regarding relocation and compensation will be provided for acquired land according to applicable rules.
