Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended the final day of the Golden Jubilee celebration of the All Nyishi Youth Association in Itanagar. The event marked fifty years since the organization was formed in 1976.
The Chief Minister praised the association for guiding youth through many challenges and supporting cultural preservation. He noted that the Nyishi community is the largest tribal group in the state and urged them to continue their developmental work.
Khandu encouraged the youth to develop tourism in Nyishi areas and focus on skill training. He announced that the state government will sponsor coaching for young people seeking to join the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces as officers.
