Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched the IMC Clean-Track mobile application for the Itanagar Municipal Corporation on October 2, 2026. This launch coincided with Gandhi Jayanti and Swachh Bharat Diwas 2026 as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign to modernize urban sanitation.
The application allows residents to
track municipal waste collection vehicles in real time between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Users can also
log overflowing dump sites by uploading location-tagged photographs. The platform features a
before-and-after system to record images of waste sites before and after clearance.
The software is currently accessible via a web browser at
imcapp.in or as an Android application through the Google Play Store. Officials confirmed plans to
expand the service to Naharlagun and Nirjuli within the next two weeks to improve operational transparency.
